Dr. Sanjiv is a result-oriented Business and Healthcare Professional with extensive experience in heading business operations in the healthcare and other service industries. Currently, the Executive Director for DM Healthcare, heading the hospitals, consultancy division business of the group. Also leads the quality assurance, HR and training divisions of the whole conglomerate.
Demonstrates business acumen in leading and managing the operations, effectively discharging the functions and achieving higher rate of organic growth. Extensive experience in conceptualizing and implementing SOP’s, process improvement, resource allocation, costing and utilization in hospital operations. As a Doctor
Dr. Malik hailed from a family of ophthalmic surgeons, pathologists, urologists and gynaecologists. He started his practice with Modi Eye Hospital at Modinagar as a senior resident before completing his fellowship in in-vitro retina at Retina Foundation, Ahmedabad. He had a brief stint at Arvind Eye Hospital before going to the MMR Eye Institute, which was set up by his father. At MMR, he attends to 50-60 OPD’s a day and performs 20-25 surgeries a month.

Dr. Malik has an extensive experience in key management positions of various organizations. His pioneering approach, results-oriented focus, and tireless efforts contribute significantly to the growth, profitability and stability of the companies he manages.
As a Philanthropist
Dr. Malik is committed to corporate social responsibility. As Honorary Executive Director of the MMR Eye Institute in India, he has initiated community outreach programs to benefit the poor in their struggle against blindness and eye disease. One of his most notable works was making a village in India cataract-free zone in the span of two years. He has continued the legacy of his father, the late Padrashi Professor S.R.K. Malik, who was an internationally-renowned humanitarian.

The Role: Heads the hospital division of the group across various countries of GCC. At present, the group has five hospitals (two in Dubai, two in Oman and one in Saudi Arabia ) with a total bed strength of 600 beds. Besides that, responsible for the entire business planning and operationalizing of the upcoming hospitals in Dubai, Sharjah and Qatar, which will take the bed strength to approx 1000 beds. The primary responsibility of P&L lies with him and also to provide strategic direction to the operations team to run the hospitals efficiently with a focus on revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
Concurrently leads EuroHealth Systems which is a leading healthcare consulting firm of the MENA region. Responsible for driving the business of various consultancy projects and providing strategic inputs to various healthcare projects.
In addition, heads the quality assurance department of the group focusing on measuring and improving both clinical and service quality thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
Also is the Group HR Head for GCC. The group at present has over 2,000 employees. Has initiated various innovative HR solutions to enhance Employee Engagement and reduce attrition rates. Also responsible for providing strategic direction to the group training and development department which also reports to him.
